There are a ton of tough conversations that need to be had in Frankfort, and we cannot continue as a commonwealth without having them. First and foremost, we have to acknowledge institutional racism and speak out against white supremacy at every turn. We also have to challenge our elected officials to pass legislation to balance the scales of justice that have been tilted against black folks for far too long.

The right to privacy and to make your own health decisions is enshrined in our nation's constitution. Any bill that seeks to limit a woman's right to choose when and if to start a family should be met head on and fiercely fought against. 

Conversion therapy is torture and should be treated as such.  Full stop. Too many LGBTQ+ individual go through these programs and tragically take their own lives. This inhuman practice should be banned.

75% of Kentucky's LGBTQ+ population is at risk of legal discrimination in work and housing. A statewide fairness ordinance would protect tens of thousands of Kentuckians from discrimination.

Those on the far-right continuously attack Kentucky's children by putting their lives at risk. We watched as the Republican super majority passed SB 150 last session, which hurts LGBTQ+ youth, specifically our trans youth. We cannot allow Frankfort politicians to turn the identities and struggles of children into a political weapon, and we have to stand up and fight back when they attempt to do so.
