Take On Greedy Utility Companies

Utility companies are out of control. They use their lobbying power in Frankfort to limit green energy use in Kentucky. They saw down our neighborhood greenery with no fear of consequence. It is time the legislature and the Public Service Commission reels in the greed of utility companies.

Break Barriers to Solar Energy Production

Currently, less than one half of 1% of Kentucky's energy is produced using solar energy. This has to change.  There are two huge barriers blocking progress in Kentucky's green energy market. First, SB 100 from the 2019 Regular Session must be repealed. This bill was a handout to the already rich utility companies by rolling back net metering for solar customers. Secondly, the 1% cap on net metering must be raised or eliminated entirely.
